From 11th to 21st April, on behalf of the Delta Forest Company, I participated in an afforestation/reforestation mission in Morvan.
During these ten days, I planted 3,150 trees, which is a small amount considering that a true professional can plant at least double that number, if not more… I committed myself to this experience like a guy my age submits to a challenge. . Was I capable of working physically for a period that was certainly short but still long enough to put strain on my muscles and joints? Furthermore, I must admit that this idea of getting physically involved in an afforestation/reforestation project satisfies me to the highest degree.
Believe me, there is nothing more practical than planting trees on the hillside when the elements are not favorable…
Planting trees, that is to say trying to revive suffering forests, undoubtedly constitutes one of the most concrete and simplest strategies to implement to deal with the numerous environmental problems that we will have to face in the future. the decades to come.
